We’re a couple of weeks away from Senior Championship, but let us share some important information about attending games this year.

The following is as as per information sent from the Tipperary County Board:

There will be a maximum attendance of 500 in the ground (From July 20th). This includes everybody present. Teams, mentors, officials, gate checkers, media, Co. Board officials, and supporters.

Depending on NPHET guidance/changes coming from Croke Park, some of the below may change but right now, here are the rules.

1. All club matches where the expected attendance is expected to be more than 500, will be all ticket matches, and tickets will be pre-sold only, to ensure traceability.

2. At the start of the week prior to a fixture, clubs will receive 40 tickets for which are for the team, mentors and the extended backroom team.

We will also get access to another bunch of tickets (circa. 100) which will be available for sale to club members, online. We will publish this link on our Facebook page when we receive it for each game. It may be the Thursday prior to the game or it may be beforehand. We don’t know for sure, yet.

3. There will be 170 tickets (“Game permits”) per game reserved for Season ticket holders/ Club Pass holders. Any unsold tickets will be go on general sale the Thursday prior to the game. These will be available to purchase on the Tipperary GAA website.

Tickets on general sale are limited to 2 per purchase catering for Adult/OAP/Student/Juvenile. Limited to one juvenile per adult. Every ticket sold must have a registered name and mobile number for traceability.

Those with club passes will have a 24 hour period in which to register for their ticket/permit prior to tickets going on general sale. If you’ve a season ticket/club pass, you need to read the information outlined here: https://tipperary.gaa.ie/match-tickets-for-tipperary-gaa-co-championships/

5. On match day all tickets will be scanned at the venue once downloaded, either from a members mobile phone or a printed copy from a members printer.
