Our Senior hurlers lost to Killenaule on Wednesday last in the South Senior Hurling Championship. We hurled well on the night, and were unlucky not to get something from the game. A last-minute goal gave Killenaule a 4-point win.

Due to an unprecedented level of player unavailability due to injuries and work commitments, our Seniors were unable to field in the first round of the County Championship against Thurles Sarsfields at the weekend.

Fethard proved too strong for our u12 footballers on Friday, beating us comfortably.

Our u14, and u16 Football games against Moyle Rovers and Cahir were postponed last week.

Our u6s, u8s, and u10s have also commenced training for the year. Due to the recent bad weather activities for these teams have been somewhat curtailed so far. We’d love to receive some help from parents for these age groups. Talk to any mentors for more information

Our u16 Camogie girls lost to Thurles on Thursday last, on The Green. Our u12 girls beat Knockavilla and drew with Sieve Felim over the past week.

Congratulations to Geoff & Bill Gosbee in London who were the lucky winners of our Aintree Grand National Sweep last weekend.

Best of luck to Owen Dunne-Harrigan who is attending County u14 hurling trials at present.
