Our Senior hurlers bowed out of the Seamus O’ Riain Cup on score difference, on Saturday last, after playing out a 0-15 to 0-15 draw against Kiladangan. The club would like to thank our Senior hurlers and management team for their dedication throughout the year.

Our Junior ‘A’ hurlers beat Ballingarry on a scoreline of Swan 2-15 Ballingarry 0-17 on Saturday evening. The win means we top our group and qualify for the knockout stages as group winners.

Our Junior ‘B’ Camogie ladies had a hard-fought 2-point win on Sunday morning over Ballingarry in round 2 of their County Championship. Our next game is against Moyle Rovers on Sunday October 10th, in Carrick.

Our u19 football game vs Kilsheelan last week was cancelled.

Our u17’s lost out to St. Mary’s on Sunday evening in Fethard in the South u17 ‘A’ Hurling Final. We tried hard but came up short on a miserably wet night in Fethard. Unlucky lads.

Our u17’s dust themselves off to take on Ardfinnan on Sunday next, in Ardfinnan, in their football championship opener. Best of luck, lads.

Our u15’s year came to an end last week after bowing out of their hurling championship at semi-final stage against Fethard. Unlucky lads.

Our u13 D’s played out a humdinger of a game against Newcastle on Sunday morning in their Shield Quarter Final. Thankfully, we came out on top, by a single point. Swan 2-7 Newcastle 3-3. Well done lads.

Our u9’s travelled to Killenaule on Saturday morning to take part in a hurling blitz. It’ was a great morning of hurling and all the kids enjoyed the day immensely. We’d like to thank Killenaule for their outstanding hospitality on the day.
