This coming Thursday, at 4.30pm in Pairc na nEalaí Carrick CBS take on the Clonmel High School in the inaugural Noel Russell Memorial Cup. This game which will become an annual event is in memory of the late Noel Russell who gave so much during his lifetime to club, community and county and the fact it is being played in Pairc na nEalaí makes it extra special. Please come along to Pairc na nEalaí on Thursday for a game that will be well worth seeing.
The Carrick Swan Weekly Bingo recommences this coming Thursday night at 8.30pm for the first time since COVID-19 hit. We hope to see all our old friends there and would encourage any new players to also come along. See you all there.
Our Junior ‘B’ camogie ladies lost out to Portroe in their County Quarter Final on Sunday morning.
Our u17s bowed out of the County Championship at Semi Final stage on Monday last when we lost out to Durlas Og despite a superb second half performance. Our u17’s also lost their football championship opener on Saturday morning and will hope to bounce back in round 2, this coming Saturday when we welcome Cahir to Pairc na nEalaí. That game throws in at 10am.
Our Junior ‘A’ footballers will take on Newcastle this coming Saturday, in Monroe at 2.30pm, in their South Semi Final. Best of luck, lads.
Our Junior ‘B’ hurlers had a good win in Davin Park against Moyle Rovers on Sunday morning. We take on Cahir, in Cloneen, on Monday next at 12 noon. Best of luck lads.
