Our Minor hurling year came to an end on Sunday last, when we lost out to Mullinahone in the South Minor A Final. The club would like to thank the minor players and management team for their efforts this year.
Our Junior camogie year also came to an end on Sunday, when we lost out to Lorrha in the Co Quarter Final. We’d like to thank the camogie ladies, and their mentors for commitment and dedication this year.
The annual Craig Walsh memorial u12 hurling tournament took place on Sunday last. Congratulations to Cahir u12s who won the shield competition beating Grangemockler-Ballyneale in the final while our own u12s won the Cup competition beating De la Salle of Waterford in the final. The club would like to thank all participating teams for an entertaining, fun-filled morning on The Green.
Our u10s travel to Abbeyside on Saturday next to take part in a star-studded Hurling tournament. Our two teams have been drawn in a group with the hosts Abbeyside, Sarsfields of Cork, and Ballyhale Shamrocks of Kilkenny. We’d like to wish the boys all the best in what is sure to be a great days hurling.
Our Senior hurlers have been drawn to face Holycross-Ballycahill in the Quarter Final of the Seamus O’ Riain Cup. Fixture to be confirmed.
