Carrick Swan Notes Monday October 28th

Adult Hurling

Commiserations to our U21s, who exited the South Football Championship at the quarter-final stage last Saturday, narrowly losing to St. Patrick’s by 3 points after a good hour of football.
Our boys get a chance to avenge last weekend’s football defeat as they face St. Patrick’s once again in the South U21 Hurling Semi-Final! Throw-in is at 2 PM on Saturday in Kilsheelan. Best of luck, boys.

Juvenile Scene

Our u17 footballers received a walkover last weekend in our final group game. It meant that we topped our group and get home advantage in the South Quarter-Final. The Quarter-Final is due to be played next Sunday at Páirc na nEalaí. Opponents and official fixture to be confirmed.

On Friday evening next, November 1st, our u13’s play Ballybacon-Grange under the lights of Fethard Town Park in the South Tipperary u13 Winter League Final. The game throws in at 7.15pm. Best of luck, boys.

Get Well Soon

All of us at Carrick Swan Club would like to send our best wishes to Sam Walsh for a very speedy recovery, following his recent operation. Sam, an exceptional hurler in his day, has been a dedicated selector with our adult hurlers for many years.

Wishing you a swift return to health, Sam – we can’t wait to see you back at Páirc na nEalaí soon!
