Our Junior ‘B’ hurlers had a hard-fought 3-point win over Cahir on Sunday. This win means that we top our group to qualify for the South Semi Final. Well done lads.

The Craig Walsh Memorial u13 Hurling tournament took place on The Green & in Pairc na nEalaí on Sunday. We welcomed teams from Fethard and Clonmel Óg down to Carrick for the day. The hurling by all was excellent, and all the kids enjoyed their day. Swan were victorious in both the Shield & Cup competitions. Well done boys. Keep up the great work.

Carrick CBS were the inaugural winners of the Noel Russell Memorial Cup on Thursday last in Pairc na nEalaí. It was a high-scoring free-flowing where Carrick surged back from 5 points down wit 20 minutes to go, to win by 2.

Well done and commiserations to u15 Stefan Tobin who lost out in his All Ireland Semi-Final handball game in Roscommon at the weekend. A great achievement to represent your county and get this far in the competition.

Our u17 footballers have a busy week this week. On Monday morning they played Ballingarry in Pairc na nEalaí at 10am. Check out our Facebook for the result of that game.

All in the club would like to wish William Barrett a speedy recovery from his recent illness, to properly encapsulate all of William’s invaluable services to the club would take forever. So simply put, no one gets what “club” means more than William Barrett. Looking forward to seeing you back in action soon William (we still have a lot to do!!)

Well done to Kyron O Meara who has been chosen for the u13 South Tipperary Development squad at the weekend. Well done, Kyron. Well deserved.
