Our Junior ‘A’ Footballers year came to an end on Sunday when we lost out to Knockavilla Kickhams in the County Semi-Final by 2 points. Commiserations to the team and management on today’s result.
Our u21 hurlers had a good runout over the weekend against Roanmore of Waterford in a challenge game ahead of their upcoming Championship.
Our Minor camogie ladies take on the St. Patrick’s/Ballingarry combo on Saturday next at Pairc na nEalaí with the game throwing in at 2pm. Best of luck, girls.
The 2021 Paddy Boland Memorial Tournament took place on Sunday last. We welcomed St. Mary’s, Mullinahone and Clonmel Óg to Carrick for a wonderful morning’s hurling. Clonmel Óg beat neighbours St. Mary’s in a brilliant shield final while Swan overcame St. Mary’s by just a point to win the cup competition in an outstanding final. We’d like to thank all the clubs that came down on a cold but dry morning. Well done to our boys on a great win.
Our 12 days of Christmas draw is just over 4 weeks away. Tickets are on sale now from all ticket sellers, and online, on the Swan website. They cost just €50, which gives you the chance to win one of many cash prizes. We’re giving away €20,000 in prizes again this year. If you are not in, you can’t win.
The Carrick Swan Weekly Bingo has recommenced. Please come down on Thursday night at 8.30pm to play our weekly Bingo. It was great to see some of our old friends there last week, and we would encourage any new players interested to also come along. See you all there on Thursday evening.

Last week’s Carrick Swan lotto numbers were 03 – 13 – 21– 22. The jackpot was €10,000 and there was no winner. Eight match 3’s were just a single number short of taking home the €10,000 jackpot. Each of the eight wins €40. Next Week’s Jackpot is €10,250. The club would like to thank you sincerely for supporting our lotto. Your support helps our young players and also helps our field development project. You can purchase your lotto tickets online, here: www.carrickswan.com/lotto.
Carrick Swan would like to pass on their condolences to the Holden family, Tinhalla, and the Cooke family, Cregg, on their recent bereavements.
