SWAN NOTES MONDAY NOVEMBER 9th

Normally at this time of year the club usually issues notice of the club A.G.M, but as you know we now live in very uncertain times.

The club would prefer to hold our A.G.M when the National Framework for living with Covid-19 allows and this is to enable us to hold a meeting on-site rather than a virtual online meeting.

If a physical meeting cannot take place then we may have to consider a virtual meeting but only as a last resort.

We now also welcome any expressions of interest for positions or roles within the club in advance of the A.G.M.

It’s also the time of year where we plan for the playing season ahead. The camogie side of our club have requested your help. We need coaches and volunteers to help with the u8s, u10, u12, & u14 girls for 2021, at the moment. If you’re interested, please reach out to us on Facebook, reach out to any committee member or any our current coaches. Coaching our kids & future adult ladies is a very rewarding role, and full support will be provided by the club for anybody getting involved next year. Please reach out for more information.

Our main fundraiser for the year, the 12 Days of Christmas Draw is just 4 weeks away and tickets for the 2020 draw are on sale now. The first draw takes place on Saturday December 12th with the bumper final draws taking place on Wednesday December 23rd.

There are €20,000 in prizes again this year, with 19 chances to win money. Our a top prize is €10,000, and tickets cost just €50.

There are three different ways to purchase tickets.
Firstly, you can purchase tickets online at https://member.clubforce.com/tickets_m.asp?LL_ID=1239&CLB=1.
Secondly, you can contact us on Facebook and we will arrange your ticket and thirdly, you can contact your regular ticket promoter/committee member who will arrange your ticket for you.

The Swan club would like to offer our condolences to the Holden family, Tinhalla, on their recent bereavement.
