Last week saw no competitive games for our teams. However, some teams were involved in a couple of challenge games.
Our u11s had a great hurling challenge on The Green against Clonea-Power on Wednesday last. There was a lot of skill on show from both sides with both sets of players enjoying a tough battle.
Our Minor hurlers played Carrickshock of Kilkenny on Friday in Davin Park in a challenge game, also. It was a good run out for the lads as they continue their preparations for the upcoming South Minor A Hurling championship which is due to start at the end of June.
This week, our Senior hurlers take on Holycross/Ballycahill on Sunday at 12 noon in Holycross in the next round of the county hurling league. We currently sit in 2nd in the group on 6 points with 3 games to play while Holycross sit in 3rd on 4 points. Sunday’s game should be cracker.
Last week’s Swan Lotto numbers were 04 – 10 – 22 – 27. The jackpot was €2,000 and there was no winner. Three match 3’s win €70 each. Next Week’s Jackpot is €2,250.
