Also, on Sunday next, our Junior ‘A’ Hurlers take on Lattin/Cullen in Round 2 of their County Hurling League. That game is fixed for 3pm in Páirc na nEalaí, also.

The draws for the 2024 FBD County Hurling & Football Championships will take place on Wednesday April 3rd and will be broadcast live on Tipp GAA TV on Facebook/YouTube.

On Thursday last, our u15 footballers got their 2nd win, from 2 games with a comfortable victory over Fethard in Fethard Town Park. This coming Thursday we take on Clerihan in Round 3. Venue TBD at this time. Best of luck lads.

Our u13 footballers had a busy week this week. We beat Father Sheehy’s in Clogheen on Wednesday evening and lost narrowly to Cahir on The Green on Saturday.  Our u13s await their next fixture.

Our Easter camp for kids aged 6 to 13 will take place next week, Tuesday April 2nd to Thursday April 4th. It will run from 10am to 1pm each day at Páirc na nEalaí, weather permitting. The cost is €40 per child and the link to register is available on our Facebook page.

Well done to Alex O Dwyer and Aaron Brennan who lined out for the South Tipperary hurlers last weekend in the U14 Peader Cummins Interdivisional Tournament in Fethard Town Park. On the day, they lost to North Tipp and followed this up with a win over Mid Tipp in the preliminary rounds. The tournament finals are being held in Borrisoleigh next Saturday. Best of luck boys.

Final grading was completed last week, and the artificial grass should be installed over the coming week or so. Completion is in sight!
