Carrick Swan Notes Monday March 18th
Carrick Swan in Blue & Gold
The club would like to congratulate Darragh Dunne on his inclusion with the Tipperary Celtic Challenge team for their upcoming All Ireland Championship. The Celtic Challenge is an All-Ireland tournament for 16 & 17 year olds. 38 teams take part from 30 counties. The tournament usually begins in late April/early May. Well done, Darragh. Well deserved.
We’d also like to wish Callum Walsh the very best of luck with the Tipperary u19s over the coming weeks. The Tipp u19s took on Limerick last week.
The club would also like to congratulate Jack T Walsh, Jay Fleming, and coach Jamie ‘Busker’ Sweetman on winning the shield final with the South Tipp u15s over the weekend.

Our Junior ‘A’ Hurlers got their County League campaign off to a winning start on Saturday against Clonmel Og on a scoreline of Swan 4-12 Clonmel Og 1-08. Well done lads.
Our Premier Intermediate game against Silvermines, which was due to take place on Sunday last, will now take on Sunday next in Dolla at 11am. Best of luck lads.

Our u13 footballers lost out to Killenaule on Tuesday last in Páirc na nEalaí. This Saturday, we take on Cahir on The Green at 3.30pm. Best of luck lads.
Well done to all the Swan boys and girls who took part in the Carrick-On-Suir St. Patrick’s Day parade on Sunday.
Our Easter camp for kids aged 6 to 13 will take place April 2nd to 4th and will run from 10am to 1pm each day. It will take place at Páirc na nEalaí each day, weather permitting, and all kids will receive a free sliotar and gaelic football. Munster Hurling Championship Tickets
This week, the GAA announced that tickets for the Tipperary vs Waterford Munster Senior Hurling Championship game in Walsh Park will be distributed through the clubs. We’d like to remind everybody that in order to put your name in for tickets, you need to be a member of the club. Membership can be paid online or through any committee member.
Club Lotto
This week’s Carrick Swan lotto jackpot is €8,500 as there was no winner of our €8,250 jackpot last week. The lotto numbers drawn were 01 – 10 – 17 -23. There were eleven match 3 winners with all of them winning €20 each. Well done, all. The club would like to thank you for your continued support. Your support helps our young players and also helps with our Field Development Project.
