We’ve lots of good news regarding Swans wearing blue and gold this week. On Thursday, Jamie Holloway became the first Swan man to play for Tipperary at Pairc na nEalaí as the Tipp u20 footballers beat Waterford in a challenge game in preparation for their upcoming Munster Championship. The Minor hurling panel was distributed to clubs and the media, with Owen Harrigan on the panel. On top of that, Claire Connolly was included in the u14 Tipperary camogie panel, and we had three boys making the South Tipperary u14 hurling panel. Well done to Stefan Tobin, Rian Power and Ronan Redmond, and to Jamie, Owen, and Claire. It’s always great to see our players donning the blue & gold jersey.
It was a tough week on the playing pitches this week, with all but one result going against us.
Our Seniors continue their championship preparations on Sunday, with a 3-point loss to Mullinahone in the County Senior Hurling League. Our Seniors play Holycross Ballycahill at Pairc na nEalaí on Sunday next at 12 noon.
The County Senior Hurling Championship Seamus O’ Riain Cup draw took place this week, also. We’ve been drawn with Burgess, Thurles Sarsfields, and Kiladangan in Group 1. Fixtures are yet to be released.
Our Junior B camogie ladies had a great 1-point win over Ballyragget on Thursday evening. Well done ladies.
Our u15 footballers lost out to St. Patricks on Thursday evening in Cloneen, and also lost out Ballingarry at Pairc na nEalaí on Saturday evening. These games concluded the group section of the championship where we now sit in 3rd place in the table.
On Tuesday night, our u13 B footballers lost out to Mullinahone while our u13 D footballers lost out to Moyle Rovers in a tightly-fought game. Our B’s take on Killenaule this Tuesday night on The Green while our D’s await their next fixture in the shield competition.

The club would like to thank O’Sullivan’s Centra, Carrick On Suir for their generous sponsorship of training tops for our u16 and Minor camogie ladies. Photos of the presentation of the jerseys can be seen on our Facebook page.
