Over the last number of weeks, the work that has gone on in Pairc na nEalaí has been unreal.  Footpaths and concrete bases were laid, dugouts installed, and a major cleaning of the car park and other facilities was carried out and the facility is at last ready for use once restrictions are lifted, this month.

Volunteerism is alive and well in the Swan club as all the lads offered their time and expertise to the club to get the job finished. The ladies deserve special mention as they fed the hungry troops every Saturday, so thanks are very much due to Mary Barrett, Leanne Ryan, Yvonne O’Halloran and Natasha Kennedy.

The club would also like to say a massive thanks to the following for all the help and apologies if anyone is not listed but in the main these are the people that helped most,

William Barrett, Ray Dunne, Michael Waters, Tom Torpey, Lee Dunne, Mark O’Halloran, Alan P Ryan, Sean O’Shea, Lee Keane, Jamie Sweetman, Dean Clery, Willie Hahessy, Jim Kennedy, Kevin Lanigan, Danny McNamara, Decky Waters, Dale O’Hanlon, Dean Waters, Tom Kennedy, Gavin O’Halloran, Aiden Waters, Scott Hogan, Mark Dunne, John B Walsh, Benny Hahessy.

All in the club extend their sincere condolences to the family, extended family and friends of Margaret Maye (nee Walsh) who sadly passed away after illness. Ar dheis Dé go raibh sí.
