On Sunday, our Senior hurlers lost out to Moycarkey Borris in round 1 of the County Senior Hurling league. The final score was Moycarkey Borris 0-16 Carrick Swan 1-09.

Next weekend, we welcome Éire Óg Annacarty to Pairc na nEalaí. That games throws in on Sunday June 20th at 12 noon. Tickets for this game and future County League games can be ordered online. The link for the game will be posted on the club Facebook page as soon as we have it, around noon on Tuesday.

To purchase a ticket you will need to click on the link and submit your details, you will also need a bank card and email address as ticket will be emailed to you once purchased where you can print or download on your phone. No tickets will be available from the club for county league games. Due to limited supply (60 for home games and 40 for away games) we ask that members only purchase these tickets and with limited supply it will be easy to check.

Our Junior A hurlers long-awaited 2020 South Final throws in at 7pm on Saturday June 19th against Grangemockler/Ballyneale in Clonmel Sportsfield. The club would like to wish players and management the very best of luck in what’s sure to be a close encounter. The game will be streamed live by Robert Healy next weekend, with the link available on the club Facebook page.

Our Junior B hurlers had a good win against Marlfield in the South Quarter Final on Saturday last. We take on Clerihan in the South Semi-Final on Wednesday night in Monroe with the game throwing in at 7-30pm. Best of luck lads.

Our Junior B camogie ladies were back in action again this week, enjoying a hard-fought win against near-neighbours Portlaw on Saturday last. The club would like to wish Portlaw ladies Sarah Fitzgerald and Niamh Laffin a speedy recovery after both ladies sustained injuries in the game.

Our u15 footballers got their year off to a good start away to Cahir last week with a good win. We welcome Ballingarry to Pairc na nEalaí for our 2nd game  of the year on Thursday evening with the game throwing in at 7.30pm.

Our u13 B’s and D’s travelled to Fethard on Tuesday last for their first championship outings of the year. We played some great football throughout both games and came away with one win and one loss. Well done boys. This Tuesday night we take on Ballingarry and Kilsheelan-Kilcash on The Green with the first game throwing in at 6-30pm. Our D’s then welcome St. Patricks of Drangan to Carrick next Saturday morning.

It finished all level for our u11 boys first football outing of the year against Mullinahone in Pairc na nEalaí on Sunday morning. Well done boys. Great football played. Next Saturday, these boys play their first hurling game of the year when we welcome St. Mary’s to Carrick. That game throws in at 10am.

The club would like to thank Killenaule for their hospitality on Saturday last when they welcomed our u9 boys up for a hurling blitz. The quality of play was fantastic in these games and our boys enjoyed every second of the day.

Last week’s Carrick Swan lotto numbers were 01 – 08 – 22 – 27. The jackpot was €4,750 and there was no winner. Three match 3’s wins €70 each. Next Week’s Jackpot is €5,000.
