Results for our teams over the past week have been a bit of a rollercoaster.

Our Seniors lost out to Ballingarry by 5 points in the opening round of the Seamus O’Riain Cup on Saturday evening. A Ballingarry goal at a crucial stage of the first half, just before half-time, cut Swan’s lead at the time to 3 points and Ballingarry kicked on in the second half to win by 5. Unlucky lads. Our Seniors take on Killenaule on Sunday August 9th in Clonmel Sportsfield in Round 2 of the Seamus O’ Riain Cup.

Our Juniors had an impressive win over Fethard on Sunday evening in Cloneen in their championship opener. We take on Father Sheehy’s in Ned Hall Park on August 8th in our next game.

Our Minors bounced back on Wednesday night from their opening round defeat to St. Mary’s with a super-performance and a 10-point win over Ballingarry. We take on Mullinahone in Kilsheelan on Wednesday night at 7.30pm.

Our u16s had a poor start to their Championship on Monday last, falling heavily to St. Mary’s in Clonmel Sportsfield. We play Moyle Rovers at Páirc na nEalaí on Monday night at 7pm.

Our u14s had a great win in Ballingarry on Thursday last. We play Mullinahone on The Green on Thursday night at 7pm vs Mullinahone.

Our u12s had a good win against Mullinahone on Sunday morning in their second group game. We now take on Killenaule on Sunday next, in Killenaule, in a winner finishes top of our group game.

Our u8 boys have returned to the training field, training each Tuesday night at 6pm on The Green.

On the camogie front, our Junior ladies beat Portlaw last week in their camogie tournament after an impressive performance in Davin Park. Our Junior camogie team take on Templemore in their championship opener on Sunday August 9th.

On Monday of last week, our u16 girls lost out to Ballybacon, in Goatenbridge while on Sunday, our u14 girls lost out to Cashel in a Championship game on The Green.
