Our Junior hurlers drew with Father Sheehys on Wednesday last. That result leaves us with 2 points after 3 games, in 4th place, with games against St Patricks and Clonmel Og still left to play. Winning both these games gives us a chance of progressing to the South Quarter Finals. We take on St Patricks on Saturday next in Grangemockler at 7.30pm.
Our u16 hurlers began their campaign with a hard-fought 4 point win over St. Marys, in Clonmel, on Thursday last. Well done boys.
Our u12s played in the Tommy Finn memorial u12 hurling tournament in Clonea-Power last weekend. Our boys had 3 great wins over Fermoy of Cork, Danesfort of Kilkenny, and Mount Sion of Waterford to qualify for the quarter finals next Saturday. A super day’s hurling. Well done to all concerned.
Our u12 D’s also played against Fethard last week, in an exciting game that ended in a draw. They take on Cahir tonight (Monday) at 8pm in Cahir, while our u12 A’s take on St Marys, on Thursday, on The Green, at 8pm.
Our Summer Cul Camps are taking place this week, running from Monday, July 16 to Friday July 20. The club would like to thank Siobhan O’ Dywer for all her time and effort over the past few weeks, and months, to make sure our camps (Easter & Summer) have been a success.
Our Seniors hurlers next County Championship game against Drom/Inch has been provisionally fixed for the w/e of August 12th.
Our Juvenile lotto jackpot last week was €2,000. There was no winner. Two match 3 winners. Congratulations Frances Power and Catherine Connolly. The numbers drawn were 01 – 06 – 21 – 25.
