Our u21 game was cancelled at the weekend as the South & County Boards were still awaiting clarification from Croke Park on age guidelines for the u21 grade. We have received notification that players born in 2003 are allowed to play u21 in Tipperary this year.

Due to an error in the original draw, the u21 South Football Championship was redrawn on Sunday last. In Round one, we received a bye. The other teams in our revised group are Knockmealdown Gaels and Killenaule.

Well done to both Jamie Holloway and Noel Obilor who were part of the Tipperary u20 football panel that won the Andrew Corden Cup Final against Carlow on Saturday evening.

Our Minor football year begins this coming weekend when we take on Killenaule on Sunday at noon in Mullinahone. Best of luck lads.

Last week’s jackpot was €10,750 and there was no winner. Twelve people were just one number off the winning or sharing the jackpot. Those eight matched 3 and won €20 each. The numbers drawn were 11 – 14 – 17 – 25. This week’s jackpot is a whopping €11,000.

It costs just €2 to enter and you can play through any of our ticket sellers, or online, via our website. Your continued support is most welcome and greatly appreciated by all in the club.
