The Carrick Swan Club A.G.M takes place this coming weekend, and all members are invited to attend. The A.G.M. will be held online this year due to the current COVID-19 restrictions. The A.G.M. throws in at 12 noon on Sunday, January 17th. You can register to receive the link here: www.CarrickSwan.com/2020agm

Off the field, juvenile hurling camogie and football management teams are currently being assembled and finalized as we prepare for the 2021 season ahead. If you’d like to get involved in 2021, please reach out to any committee member, or reach out to us on Facebook for more information. We’d love to have you involved.

The car park, at Pairc na nEalaí, will be completed once current construction restrictions are lifted.

Our Lotto draw is currently discontinued during current Covid restrictions, also. We’ll hopefully be back in early February when current restrictions are eased.

The club would like to extend its deepest sympathy to the family of the late John Dunphy of Oldcastle, Ahenny, who passed away at a relatively young age recently. John supported the club during our fundraisers and his son Sean played with us giving many an inspired performance in the defence. John will be greatly missed by all who knew him but in particular his wife Sheila, sons James and Sean, daughter Laura, brothers Dick, Shomie, and Noel and his sister Margaret, all the extended family and friends. Ar dheis Dé go raibh sé.

The Swan club would also like to offer our condolences to the Dalton family of Marian Avenue, and the Keogh family of Marian avenue, also, on their recent bereavements.
