Carrick Swan Notes Monday February 5th

Carrick Swan Club would like to say a massive congratulations to our Club Development Officer, Sean O’Shea, on receiving his Gradaim an Uachtaráin, GAA President’s Award in Croke Park on Friday last with the ceremony being broadcast live on TG4. The prestigious President’s Award is presented to just 11 volunteers every year for their long-standing commitment and dedication within the GAA and Sean is a very deserving recipient. Congratulations, Sean.

Save the date. The 2024 Juvenile Easter Camp will take place from Tuesday April 2nd to Thursday April 4th. We’ll have more details in the coming weeks.

Work is progressing nicely on our new all-weather pitch and hurling wall. The hurling wall installation began last week. Keep an eye out on our Social Media channels over the coming weeks to see photos of how it’s progressing.

In anticipation of our u11s starting back training in the next few weeks, there is a parents group chat being set up for the u11s for 2024. If your child was born in 2013/2014 could you please get in contact with Lee on 085 8867738 via text or WhatsApp. As always, new players are very welcome.

There are some photos from last weekend’s Juvenile medal presentation up on our social media pages. Check them out.

2024 Membership is now due and can be paid to any committee member or through our online membership payment portal: www.CarrickSwan.com/membership.

Last week’s Carrick Swan lotto numbers were 05 – 11 – 19 – 21. The jackpot was €6,750 and there was no winner so next week’s jackpot is €7,000. There were nineteen match 3 winners last week with all of them winning €20 each. Well done, all.

Carrick Swan would like to pass on their condolences to the Casey family of Treacy Park and the O’Dwyer family of O’Mahoney Avenue and Cork on their recent bereavements.
