Our u21s lost out to Ballingarry in the South Semi Final last week, in Dr. Morris Park. They dusted themselves off on Saturday last to take on Carrickshock of Kilkenny for the William Lonergan Memorial Cup. This was a real game of two halves. At half time Carrickshock led 3-14 to 04 points. Following the break and with the aid of a stiff breeze we earned a hard-fought draw, 3-14 each. It was decided to settle proceedings by penalties where Jack Kelly proved the hero stopping three penalties in a row. The cup was presented by William’s grandson, Craig Lonergan to Swan captain Warren Fleming. Billy Murphy received the man of the match award, also. Best of luck to Carrickshock in their upcoming u21 county final.

Last week’s Swan Lotto numbers were 04 – 11 – 20 – 23. The jackpot was €9,250 and there was no winner. Seven match 3s wins €30. Next Week’s Jackpot is €9,500. Thank you for your continued & appreciated support. Play our lotto – Support our young players.

Carrick Swan would like to pass on their condolences to the Fitzgerald family, Pearse Square, Lonergan family Faugheen and Castle Court, and the Hogan Family Dublin and Carrick on their recent bereavements.
