Our Senior hurlers lost out to Thurles Sarsfields in Round 1 of the 2021 Seamus O’ Riain Cup on Sunday in Cashel. Unlucky lads.

Our Junior A hurling game against Ballylooby was postponed on Sunday.

We play Junior A football this weekend against Clerihan in Ned Hall Park, Clonmel, with the game throwing in at 6pm on Saturday evening.

Our Junior B camogie ladies lost out to Moycarkey at the weekend.

Our u19 A hurlers had a super win over Ballingarry on Wednesday last in Cloneen in their championship opener. We play Cahir in Round 2 on Wednesday of this week in Ned Hall Park at 6.45pm.

Our u17 game vs Moyle Rovers on Monday August 23rd was postponed. Our u17s took on Kilsheelan on Friday last in Carrick and played out a draw. Swan 1-15 Kilsheelan 2-12.

Our u17s take on Killenaule tonight in Killenaule. The game throws in at 7pm.

Next Monday, our u17 boys take on St. Mary’s at Pairc na nEalaí with the game throwing in at 6.30pm.

Our u16 girls lost their Shield Final to Mullinahone last week in The Ragg. We tried hard on the night but came up a little short against a very strong Mullinahone team.

Our u15 boys take on Mullinahone at Pairc na nEalaí on Thursday night with the game throwing in at 6.30pm.

Our u13 B boys lost to Killenaule in Killenaule last week. This team took on Mullinahone at Pairc na nEalaí on Tuesday night. Check out our Facebook page for the result of that game.

Last week, our u11s had some great games of hurling against Clonea at at Pairc na nEalaí. We followed this up with a great game of football against Ardfinnan last weekend on The Green.

Our u11s pick up their hurleys this weekend for a trip to Clonmel to take part in the annual St. Mary’s Hurling tournament on Saturday, and then the boys follow this up by welcoming Mullinahone to The Green on Sunday morning. Sunday’s game throws in at 10-30am.

Our u6 kids play their very first match of the year on Wednesday evening against Mooncoin. This will be the very first game that some of these future Swan senior hurlers ever play in. Best of luck all.

The club would like to wish both Sarah Connolly and Helena Walsh a speedy recovery from injury. Sarah fractured her finger in our recent game while Helena is currently awaiting a knee op. Best of luck to you both. We can’t wait to see you back on the playing fields in the near future.

Carrick Swan’s main fundraiser for 2021 has officially launched. Tickets for the 2021 12 Days of Christmas Draw are on sale now. We’ve €20,000 in prize money to give away, and tickets cost just €50.
