Our Senior hurlers exited the Seamus O’Riain Cup at the hands of Mullinahone on Saturday last. It was a game where we never got going, and unfortunately one where we couldn’t claw back Mullinahone’s quick start. Unlucky lads.
On Sunday next, our Junior footballers take on Ballylooby/Castlegrace in the South Junior Football /Championship.
This coming Wednesday, our Minor footballers begin their championship against Ballingarry with the game throwing in at 6-30pm in Fethard.
Our u16s South Hurling Final will now take place next Monday, September 7th with the opposition yet to be decided.
Our u14s hurling year game to an end last week when a defeat to Moyle Rovers meant we finished 5th, and didn’t make the semis.
Our u12 B’s hurling year also came to an end at the weekend when we lost out to Ballylooby/Castlegrace in Ballylooby in the South Quarter Final. Unlucky boys.
The club would like to wish senior hurler, Eric O’ Halloran, the best of luck overseas. Eric travelled overseas with the Army in recent weeks.
The club would also like to wish senior hurler, Gavin O’ Halloran, a speedy recovery as he begins his recovery from the leg injury he picked up last week.
Last week’s Carrick Swan lotto numbers were 01 – 10 – 11 – 23. The jackpot was €4,750 and there was no winner. Seven match 3s wins €30 each. Next Week’s Jackpot is €5,000.
