Our Seamus O Riann hurlers were defeated by Cashel in round 3 of the championship Saturday evening hard luck lads. We will play the preliminary quarter final next weekend opposition time and venue to be confirmed.
Well done to our junior B hurlers who had a comprehensive win over our local rivals Carrick Davinson Friday evening last to make it 2 from 2 in the championship. We play Ballybacon in our final group game fixture to be confirmed.
Hard luck to our under 19s who lost out to a strong St Mary’s team in their semi-final replay last week thanks to all players and mentors for their commitment all year.
Junior footballers will play St pats in the quarter final of the south championship on Thursday at 6-15 in Monroe.
Junior B camogie girls play Portroe next Sunday in round 3 game goes ahead at 2pm in Pairc na hEalai.
Hard luck to our under 12 girls who were defeated by a strong Clonoulty Rossmore team in the county final at weekend. Great achievement to get their girls thanks to the management and players for all your hard work.
The U10’s had a busy week.
On Tuesday they travelled to Clonea for a very enjoyable evening camogie.
On Saturday they travelled to Cahir to play in a county blitz. Playing opponents from Thurles, Cahir and Moycarkey In some very enjoyable and competitive fixtures. The girl’s continued improvement is a credit to them.
Our Under 9 boys had a Blitz on Thursday Last in St Mollerans great skill on show thanks very much to the hosts.
