Club Notes

Our Premier Intermediate Hurlers had a fine win over Silvermines on Saturday last in the County Quarter-Final. They now progress to the County Semi-Final, where they will face Boherlahan Dualla on Saturday, October 11th at 1.30pm in Semple Stadium.

Congratulations to our Junior B Hurlers, who were crowned South Champions on Sunday last after a great win over St. Pats. Well done to all involved!

There was heartbreak for our U15A Hurlers in the South Final, as they lost out by just 1 point to Mullinahone, conceding two late goals in the closing minutes.

Our U13 team also suffered a narrow 1-point defeat to Ballingarry in the Shield competition.

On Sunday morning, the Paddy Boland Tournament took place in Páirc na nÉalaí. It was a lovely morning and a fitting way to honour a great Swan man.

Looking ahead, on Saturday, October 4th, we will host a Coffee Morning in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness. This will take place in the Carrick Swan Juvenile Hall from 9.30am to 1.30pm. We encourage all to come along and support – there will be wonderful spot prizes on the day.

Finally, the club extends its sincere condolences to the Hannigan family, Glenview, on their recent loss.
