Carrick Swan Club Notes
Our Premier Intermediate hurlers take on Boherlahan Dualla this coming Saturday in the County Quarter-Final. Throw-in is at 1.30 pm in Semple Stadium. Best of luck to the team and mentors — we’re all behind you!
Our U17A footballers played their first championship game on Sunday against Mullinahone. Despite a great effort, they were unfortunately beaten.
Our U15 hurlers are awaiting the start of their Shield competition, while our U13 footballers are waiting for confirmation on a possible Winter League.
We held a coffee morning in our Juvenile Hall last Saturday in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness. The support from the community was overwhelming, and we’d like to sincerely thank all the ladies involved for making it such a success, and especially Mary Barrett for coordinating the event. The final amount raised will be confirmed soon.
We’re delighted to share that a stairlift has been installed in Páirc na nEalaí. This is a wonderful addition to our facilities and will make the club more accessible to anyone with mobility issues.
Finally, all at Carrick Swan GAA would like to extend our deepest condolences to the Harris family, St. John’s Terrace.
