Emails and text messages are pinging, phones are ringing, a lot of excitement is building amongst players, coaches, and administrators in the club as work continues at the moment in preparation to returning to full-playing activities.

Coaches and administrators are undertaking the GAA’s Covid-19 Club Education eLearning Module and their completion certificates are landing in the inboxes of our Covid-19 Supervisors.

Our Supervisors are also awaiting the full-launch of the GAA’s Health Questionnaire which will be distributed to players and the parents/guardians of Juvenile players in the coming week.

The club would like to say thanks to all the entrants for our poster competition recently. We could not pick an individual winner as all the children went to great effort to colour these beautiful pictures.  They are all winners so each child will receive a Hurley & Sliotar. Congratulations and very well done to all, and we’d also like to say thanks to the parents for their encouragement, also. Posters will be on display in the windows of the club house for the next few weeks.

Last week’s Carrick Swan lotto numbers were 04 – 11 – 13 – 22. The jackpot was €2,250 and there was no winner. Eight match 3s wins €30. Next Week’s Jackpot is €2,500. The club would like to thank you sincerely for supporting our lotto. Your support helps our young players and also helps our field development project.  You can purchase your lotto tickets here: www.carrickswan.com/lotto.
