Carrick Swan Notes Monday, June 16th
Our Junior A Footballers played Ballingarry, where they came out on top. Final score Carrick Swan 0-16 Ballingarry 2-9
Well done, lads. They were due to play Clerihan on Saturday last but received a walk over for this game.
Underage fixtures for the week ahead:
U13 D Hurling Championship v Ballybacon in Goatenbridge Monday June 16th at 6.45 pm
U 13 B Hurling Championship v Ballylooby in Ballylooby Tuesday June 17th at 6.45 pm.
U 13 D Hurling Championship vs. Clonmel Og on the Green Thursday June 19th at 6.45 pm
Our u8 camogie girls travelled to Ballybacon for their first game of the year.
The skills they showed were top class with great performances from each player.
Thanks to Ballybacon for hosting the game and to all parents and supporters for travelling. Huge thanks to the coaches also.
Our Cygnets were out in force last week!
On Friday evening, our Cygnets travelled to Killenaule for a hurling blitz.
We were delighted to be able to enter 4 teams into this blitz.
As a club, we take great pride in our Cygnets. At the moment, we have just over 70 u7s registered this year with numbers growing every week.
The future is bright here at Carrick Swan!
Huge congratulations to Charlie Walsh, who lined out with the South Tipperary u14 footballers last weekend and won the Camida Cup. Well done, Charlie!
