Carrick Swan Notes Monday, July 7th
A victorious weekend all round for both our Junior A and Junior B hurlers.
Our Junior A hurlers played Fr Sheehys on Saturday last and came out on top with a 6 point win on the night.
Our Junior B hurlers kicked off their championship on Friday against Clerihan, winning by 8 points in the finish.
Well done to both teams and mentors.
Our Junior B hurlers next play Clonmel Óg on Sunday July 13th at 12 o’clock.
On Wednesday, 9th, our U19 hurlers play St Mary’s in Kilsheelan at 7.30pm.
U17A hurlers start their championship on Monday 7th against Killenaule in Pairc na nEalaí at 8pm.
U13B hurlers played 2 games last week, beating Clerihan but losing to Ballylooby. Their next game is at home to Ballybacon Grange on July 15th.
U13D hurlers play Newcastle away on Monday 7th at 6.45pm
Pairc na nEalaí last week was ranked 4th best GAA pitch in Ireland.
We are beyond proud of our progress to date of our fantastic new field and facilities.
The next part of the project is the installation of a Seated Spectator Stand of which we are currently having designed and have full planning permission for.
We as a club are committed to making Pairc na nEalaí the very best it can be!
All at Carrick Swan Club would like to pass on our condolences to the O’Leary/Roche family Castle Heights and the Clancy family William Street.
