Carrick Swan Notes Monday, July 21st.

Our junior A hurlers played Mullinahone on Friday last. Unfortunately, they were beaten on the night. They next play Fethard on Sunday, July 27th, at 7 pm in Clonmel.

Junior B hurlers are next out on Sunday, July 27th, also. They play Skheenarinky at 12 o’clock in Clonmel.

Our South Senior Hurling Championship kicks off on Saturday, July 26th, against Mullinahone. Throw in at 7 pm in Clonmel.

On Wednesday, July 23rd, the U19 B South Football quarter final takes place.
Swan plays Knockmealdown Gaels at 7.30 pm in Ardfinnan.

U15 hurlers beat Fethard in their first game in the championship. Their next game is against Mullinahone on 31st July.

U17 hurlers play Fethard/Clerihan on Monday at 8pm in Pairc na nEalaí.

U9 team hosted a blitz in Pairc na nEalaí on Saturday. It was a fantastic turnout and very well run. Well done to all involved.

U8 and U10 camogie coaches attended a Camogie Coaching Program night hosted by Tipperary Camogie in Ferhard Town Park on Thursday. It was a very successful night’s training focusing on key skills demonstrated by top camogie coaches that can be integrated into training sessions going forward. Thanks to the coaches who travelled on the evening.

A very successful week at Cúl Camps. A great turnout. Special thanks to Siobhan O’Dwyer and her son Craig. As always, they had it running very smoothly.

Special thanks to our club secretary Frankie Nolan in the lead up to the All Ireland Final. The work he does for our club is endless, and we thank him for his efforts, especially these past few weeks.

All in the club are saddened to hear of Paschal McCormack’s passing recently, Paschal was a very talented underage player with the club before emigrating some years ago, condolences to all his family.
