Carrick Swan Notes – Monday, August 25th

Our Premier Intermediates were in championship action against Killenaule at the weekend, coming away with a fine win. The game finished Carrick Swan 3-16 Killenaule 0-22. Well done to all the lads on a great performance.

Our Junior A Footballers are in South Semi-Final action this Friday, August 29th, against St. Pats. The throw-in is at 6.30 pm in Kilsheelan. Best of luck to the team and management.

Our Junior B Hurlers were due to face Monroe on Sunday last, but that game was postponed. It has been rescheduled for Tuesday, September 3rd at 6.30 pm in Cloneen.

Our U19 footballers were unfortunately beaten on Wednesday by St. Pats. Hard luck lads.

Our U17A Hurlers recorded a strong win over Knockmealdown Gaels on Friday evening. They face a busy week ahead with two fixtures:

Monday vs. Mullinahone at 7.15 pm in Mullinahone

Thursday vs. Moyle Rvs at 7.15 pm in Monroe

Our U15A Hurlers have completed their group games and now await details of their semi-final fixture.

Both of our U13 teams are awaiting fixtures in the upcoming Shield competition.

Finally, all in Carrick Swan GAA Club wish to extend our deepest sympathies to the Nolan family, Collins Park, on their recent bereavement.
