On Saturday last, our Senior hurlers lost to Upperchurch-Drombane in Golden. The loss means we go into a play-off with 3 other team (yet to be decided) to see who drops down to Seamus O’ Riain in 2019.

Our Junior camogie girls had 2 outstanding wins in their championship last week. They beat Brian Boru’s on The Green on Thursday, and then followed this up by defeating Arravale Rovers in Tipperary town on Sunday evening. Well done to all involved.

Our Minor hurlers continued their game on game improvement, and earned their first championship victory of the year with a win over Ballingarry in Cloneen on Wednesday last. We play St. Mary’s this coming Sunday at 12 noon in Ned Hall Park (Clonmel Og).

Our u16s beat Cahir last week to finish the league section of the Championship on top of the table. We’re still awaiting a semi-final fixture. Best of luck to the team and mentors in the knockout stages.

Commiserations to our u14 hurlers who lost their South semi-final to Moyle Rovers on Thursday last. After a hard-fought tussle, we lost out by 6 points.

Well done to our u12 D hurlers who beat Moyle Rovers on The Green last weekend in the hurling shield quarter final. They now take on Kilsheelan or Ballybacon-Grange in the Semi Final on Thursday, on The Green at 6-30pm. Best of luck boys.

Our u12 camogie girls were also in action over the past week taking on Fethard on Thursday last. Our u14s play Burgess on The Green tonight (Monday) at 7pm.

Our u6s travelled to Killenaule for a hurling blitz last week where we had some enjoyable games. We’d like to thank the Killenaule club for inviting us up, and for organising such a well-run event. The kids loved it and made some new friends too.

Well done to Jamie Holloway and Owen Dunne Harrigan who represented Tipperary at u16, and u14 level, respectively last weekend in the All-Ireland tournaments in Wexford and Waterford.

Congratulations to Paddy O’Dwyer for completing his charity parachute jump last weekend, for the Irish Wheelchair Association. Paddy was a brave hurler in his day, and his parachute jump from 10,000ft showed us all he hasn’t changed. Well done Paddy.

Our Juvenile lotto jackpot last week was €3,500. There was no winner. One match 3 winner wins €200.   The numbers drawn were 07 – 15 – 16 – 27. Next Week’s Jackpot is €3,750.
