On Saturday last, our Senior hurlers lost to Drom/Inch in the Co. Championship. We started well and were leading by 4 points at the mid-way point in the first half. From here, Drom got on top, and ran out deserved winners. We play Upperchurch-Drombane in our next game, which is yet to be fixed.
Our Intermediate footballers take on Rockwell Rovers in Round 2 of the Co. Championship on Saturday. The game throws in at 5pm in Clonmel Sportsfield. Best of lick lads.
Our Minors lost to Skeheenarinky/Clonmel Óg on Sunday last, in Monroe. We take on Cahir on Wednesday in Ned Hall Park, Clonmel. Throw in at 7-30pm.
Our u16s have a busy week ahead. Their game against Moyle Rovers, originally fixed for Monday will take place Thursday evening, in Monroe. That game throws in at 7pm. On Saturday, our u16s welcome Cahir to Davin Park. Saturday’s game begins at 12 noon.
Our u12 A hurlers take on Fethard on Monday night in their South Final. The game throws in at 7pm in Kilsheelan. Lets get up to Kilsheelan to cheer them. Our u12s have done remarkably well to get this far. We beat Kilsheelan/Kilcash in a play-off to make the Semi-Finals, and then beat Ballingarry after sudden death extra time to make the final.
Our u8, u9, and u10 teams travelled to Cahir on Tuesday of last week to play some challenge games. It was a great evening’s hurling, with all the kids thoroughly enjoying themselves.
Our u14s will play Moyle Rovers in the South ‘A’ Semi-Final in the coming weeks. We’re currently awaiting the official fixture.
Our Junior Camogie team have received a provisional fixture for our first ever adult championship game. We take on Brian Boru’s on Thursday August 23rd at 7-15pm. Best of luck.
Our Juvenile lotto jackpot last week was €3,000. There was no winner. One match 3 winner wins €20 each. Congratulations Sarah Healy. The numbers drawn were 08 – 17 – 19 – 28.
