Our Intermediate footballers lost out to Drom/Inch on Saturday in the opening round of the County Intermediate Football Championship.
 
Our Junior A hurlers take on St Patricks in Monroe on Saturday next at 6-30pm, in the opening round of their South Junior A Hurling Championship.
 
Our Junior B camogie girls take on Fethard this Friday in the County Camogie League. Throw in at 7pm. Best of luck girls.
 
Our u16 footballers lost to Fethard on Saturday evening, also. Our u16s play Moyle Rovers on The Green on Monday night (Tonight, 7pm throw in). Our u16’s play their third Championship game on Monday next when we travel to Cahir to take on the hosts. Throw in at 6-30pm.
 
Our u14s take on Grangemockler/Ballyneale on Thursday, on The Green at 6-15pm in their opening South football championship game.
 
Our u12 A & C teams travelled to Ballingarry last week. Both games were hard-fought, and both teams showed lots of skill. In the end, the C’s drew their game while the A’s won theirs. Our C’s lost out to Clonmel Og earlier in the week.
 
The Swan Club would like to congratulate Aaron O’Sullivan, Aidan Waters, Cian Robinson, and Cory Ryan on being selected to be part of the Tipperary Celtic Challenge hurling panel for 2019. This is an u17 South/West combination and for the club to have the 4 lads on the panel is no mean feat. Best of luck lads.
 
The club would also like to congratulate Jamie Holloway who is a member of the Tipperary Minor football team for 2019. The Tipp Minor footballers dispatched of Waterford last week in their opening championship game.
 
It was great to see so many turn up on Friday last to view the new pitches at Ballyrichard Road and all were very impressed. Unfortunately Sunday’s opening morning was cancelled due to the weather forecast. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for when it’ll be opened up again.
